My first Dreambox. Cant install Cam.

Bought my first Dreambox DM500s.
Ive set it up so I can view FTA programs.
Now trying to add a Cam but getting nowhere.
Its running Enigma.

Ive been looking for a solution for hours and can find nothing.
I have no options for Cam anywhere. Tried pressing blue button twice. and tried looking through the menus. No luck.

Any advise would be massivly appectiated.

what image? all images are enigma... whats it say when you power on? pli? etc

I dont now how to update menu. Sorry.

Doesnt say anything when I turn it on.
When I unplug it and plug it back in it just comes on and goes to whatever channel it was on last.
If I go to Information and the About it says 'Software Version: Unknown'.

Is there a menu with plugins in it ? you may find cams in the plugin menu if you can find it.

when u reboot the box theres a screen at the start up , wot does it say

If I press the Blue button I get a plugins menu.
All it says in it is:
1-start Ngrab recording
2-stop Ngrab recording
3-Teletext


Thanks for the guide Shady but I dont have a Null Modem cable.
Is there another way without cable as my laptop doesnt even have the correct port for it.

if you go to network on settings, you should see an ip address (if dm is connected to network) if you can then u can flash via telnet

Have an IP address and can bring up Dreambox page in Windows Explorer.
Ive downloaded PuTTY but when I put in IP address and port, then select Telnet all I get is a blank CMD prompt window.

When I go to information it says Version Unknown.
