I am looking to be able to view various satellites specifically for the footy and have been advised to get a dreambox 500+ which I can flash to get both free to air & encrypted channels along with either a motorised dish or a Torridal? dish to be able to get Astra, Hotbird etc. Is this right? I've been looking on line and it seems that no one stocks the 500 unless it's the HD version which is too expensive for me. Does any one know of a supplier that doesn't deal in cloned units? Or equally does any one know of a different system that does the same job. Sorry I really am a virgin on these matters so any advise would be welcome.

All new DM500s are clones, DMM haven't manufactured genuine ones for a few years.
Theres a bit more to it than just flashing an image to be able to clear encrypted channels btw. Google 'card sharing' as discussion of the subject is banned on these forums
