What next.? some info please.? Dm500s

Hi there all,
just firstly got to say fab site ive only got this far thanks to the help already there for gleaning. (which i have for an auld fart.!

Anyway to the point i have set up my dm 500s with the marwensat 2.2 .?flash its the only one i put on that works with my network ,which is LAN to router (huawei h532)

i have also installed cccam 2.3.0
i can connect to all sly and freeview chanells but cant get my sly card to unlock the prem chanells.

i am on 28.2 astra sat i have direct link to my sly sat dish lnb to my dm500.

what i need some advice on is what should i be learning about now.?
ive read loads on this in the last week and believe me i am an old fart and done well up to now but dont want to be making an arse of this.
i know i can do this with the right help please give me a clue,
someone told me i am wasting my tme on 28.2 as its locked to sky and encrypted.? is this true? where should i be looking ?


if i want to use emu's and keys go where ? what decent pay card sharing sites should i look at.? (can you really get some free?)
what are emu's and keys for?
is it possible to view other sats from my fixed sky one.? do i have to move it .?
how do i do this cccam.config thing.?
or put my box key in?
i have the boxkey converted for it but i dont know how to enter it into the file.?
also i can get all the control centre working an connected or flash fxp connected and the other software the box key convertor any one have tuts available ?
the type of cross for OAP idiots guide to cardsharing and the above named progs.

i know i am asking a lot here most are just questions and being actually able to ask someone.
its like i am half way through a tut and i think what are emu's for? or how do i open this cccam file or whats satellite.xml for.?

can someone explain this** or what hops are etc.?

**(To add a user you have to put a F line in the config :

F: user password 3 1 0 { 0:0:5 }

user gets all our cards at max distance(hops) of 3

He has the right to use our emu keys 1, no rights to emu keys change into 0

He has NO AU rights 0, right for AU change into 1

Furthermore he has the right to reshare all our cards 4 more times { 0:0:5 }
When number is here { 0:0:1 } he can only watch himself and he has no reshare rights.))

so bare with me i am intelligent just old.!!
over 40 and stoned .!! ha ha is there hope i also have hnc electronics and am spark so hope yet.
so not complete idiot. but any help really appreciated. i love the fact i can now get stuff for flashing x box here as well.

as your dish is fixed to 28.2e astra satellite (sky uk) then you will only recieve the channels that is being beamed from it fta or pay channels if you have your sky subsciption card inserted into it and have cccam configured with you card.
you will need the boxkey also. all this info can be found by using the search option in this site.. as for c lines and f lines you would be better using google to help you configure them if you want to share your sub card to another room in your house (internal share) or to an external share

thanks fo that i am getting there slowly but sometimes i really think people want to ask the stupid questions . like whats a f line.. just as an example i know now . but its also understanding how servers work etc etc etc lots more reading .
thanks again all who have helped me get this far. i am just an old fellow fae glesga who's sick tired getting robbed by sly.uk. and this is my fight back the little guy style.
