DM500 scanning problems

Hey guys i am having problems with the dm500 that i got today and i have installed the pli jade image then scanned for all the channels, however i only get like 286 channels and i didnt get any sky sports channels, no movie channels anddidnt get most of the asian channels but i know im missing loads more, does anyone know how to solve this will be really appreciated thanks!

Found it thanks mate just FTP the latest sat.xml and the bouquets im just scanning for the channels now

Scanning has just finished and its still the same missing loads of channels, when i go onto the bouquets most of them say removed services

Maybe LNB is goosed? Whats your Signal strength like?

someone had a similar prob, they were scanning 19.2e instead of 28.2e you are scanning 28.2e yeah?

Where did you FTP the sattelites.xml file to?

var/etc folder mate using the dcc aswell

Right guys i have done everything again, updated the bouqeuts using the dcc and then scanned for the channels again, however i got 31 tv services but looked at my bouquets and all channels were there but most of them dont work! Most of the free ones dont work either

there was a sat.xml file in the bouquets mate, do i have to FTP another?
