Homeplug with dm500s and plusnet router

Is there any reason a homeplug will not work with a plusnet router and a dm500s.

I was setting up a dm500s for a friend tonight. He told me his sky cable and phone point were behind the tv but when I arrived the sky cable and phone point are in different rooms.

So only option is a homeplug, will this definitely work, 100%.

Will it diminish connection, will picture be choppy.

I tried setting up a dm500s for a guy using 3g but connection was terrible, unwatchable....

Please advise, guy is desperate for this to be setup for weekend.

If someone could reccomend the best and cheapest homeplug that would be great...

Havent ordered yet but does it matter where the two plugs are in your house. I think someone told me some wall sockets will not work if they are on different trips or something...

Would HomePlugs work on different mains circuits (rings) in my house ?

There is mis-information about this subject on the web - the answer is Yes - limitations are as follows - the rings or circuits (such as upstairs and downstairs) mains must be on the same fuse box / consumer box

Should all work on same phase, most houses are single phase, unless you live in a ~~~~in mansion,or have lots of crappy storage heating,so no probs
