    usb vodaphone mobile internet

    firstly i am very very new to all this so here goes.
    just bought dreambox 500s, but seem to have hit first problem. I have usb vodaphone mobile internet toggle connected to my laptop so can it be connected to my dreambox and if so with what cables or other equipment.
    PS please treat me as a proper idiot as i have read loads on these pages and only took a very limited amount inI suppose like most things i will learn and hopefully be able to pass on some info to beginers in the years to come.

    No, that's not possible.

    If you want the dreambox to have internet access, it needs to be connected to a modem or a router (which is connected to a router). Mobile broadband will not work.

      If you want to share your mobile broadband connection between more than one computer then you need a mobile broadband router. You can't use a standard wireless router as they do not have the ability to connect to a USB mobile broadband router.
      Mobile broadband routers are currently specific to each network.

      You need this if your on Vodafone..
