DM500S Switches From Scart to Tuner

I set a dm500s for a guy and its connected via scart but it switches onto the tv by itself regularly.

Ive no idea the cause of this.....

it may be a setting that overrides the tv when an external device is powered on,like av1 etc and to go back to tv you need to press tv button.

I dont want it to switch back to the tv, how can I stop this as the guy is complaining about it telling me its happening 3-4 times per evening..

change scart to a one way or use the rcs phono outputs.

How do I change to one way. I cannot use phonos as Im am scarting into a rf modulator....

Disable the auto switch in the dreambox and once you set the TV to AV it will stay there.

Im not at home to have a fiddle through the settings but I have to call down on thursday.

Where is the settings so Im not sat there too long...

cut pinout 8 from scart

I have scart from tv to rf modulator and then scart from modulator to dreambox.

Do I need to cut pin 8 from all four ends....?

no ,only from one side for two scart.
or just from dm's scart output.
