Potential help needed..Infact.... Certain!

I got a D500s setup last week and I have started setting up but kind of need some direction.
I have read a bit, downloaded some software and here i am

Where I'm at:

I have connected straight into my existing Sky setup, adding another cable into my existing LNB. I do have a motor and bigger dish but I'd rather get it up and running before changing dishes.

I checked the existing image on the box and scanned using it and got all the fta channels. The guy i bought it from said the image had been on a while so I looked for some more and eventually,

I have flashed my box with pli-Jade-dm500-maxvar-2009062.

I can communicate with my box via serial and network.

I have DCC communicating with my box!

Thats it m8, FTA channels only for now.
To get pay channels you will need to purchase a C-line and install that info into CCCam.
If you go menu>setup>system settings>Software update, you can update software as long as your network is connected.
