HELP - how can i remove pin from dm500??

can anyone tell me how to remove parental lock/pin from dm500, as there is an existing pin lock on already?

dont want to reflash the box because i will lose cl*ne and setup.

can i change pin via desktop/pc??

DreamBoxEdit

to get the existing pin
fire up DreamBoxEdit
fill in your details in options and save
then click ftp
click receive files from dreambox
pick a channel thats locked in services on the left hand side
right click it
click show/edit details
there you will find the pin
disable it or enable it
or change it

you can only receive files from the dreambox
if you know the dreambox password

i meant the pin for the dreambox...not the channels.
i.e. if i wanted to go into setup on dreambox, i need a 4digit pin number. thats what i need

for dm500
start DCC click telnet and paste this line in

cat /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/config|grep -i pins

look for this line
setuplock=
find last 4 digits on that line
then go here and it will convert them
and show the pin
Hex To Decimal Converter

if you cant use telnet
fire up dcc and goto
/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/config
right click edit
and look for setuplock=
find last 4 digits on that line
and convert them as above

i have this same problem were do i get the dcc file but in English i downloaded 1 but its not English also to use this software do i have to have a serial to usb connection to my pc ?

IV GOT THE DCC TO WORK BUT wen i try to reconnect it says dreambox has no ip adress that am i doing wrong
