dm500s tried flashing cant get any response

help me dm500s got green light on only cant get anything ....tried flshing it with plijade .through dream up ..it flashed ok saying flash success ..but theres nothing on box wen i connect to tv etc were am i going wrong all help please

Are you not getting any bootup screen or anything.... have you checked your scart or maybe even try a different psu.

sorry sound thick wots a psu ...no im not getting nothing on dream box screen wen connected to tv yet it states it flashed sucess through dream up thanks for reply

Psu - the power supply uniy, Ive had some very wierd symptons when voltages are even slightly down.

Maybe flash got corrupted somehow try reflashing again even download the image from a different source just in case you have downloaded a corrupted image.

ive tried transfering back up image to the box .but no joy wen using dream up tried various types dream up it states flash sucecessfull but nothing on box wen plugged up to tv .....isthere any other method of getting box to work

Have you tried the composite connections, the yellow, white and red.

yes mate tried them cables ;;;;other dreambox woks fine on cables or scart ..it mite be time to get in creaky tin un get another ,,,thanks to all help

have you tried the power supply off the other dreambox you have ,could be that,worth a go,have read about this happening to a few of these boxes.

Get a decent DM500s...layer 4 pcb with 3 amp psu.
You wont have any probs with those,youll get the cheaper layer 2 models that will give probs like you mentioned.
Try another image first tho...is the box responding to the remote i.e. flashing green led on box while pressing remote?
