how to send back up file back to dream box

    how to send back up file back to dream box

    help ive got dm 500s with just green lite ..tried flashing with dream up but still no picture etc .just green light it states on computer that box success flashed ?//ive even copied a back up of a working box but need to know how to resend it back to the other dm box not working ..tried through dream up after flash but wen i open file to resend back up to box its not showing up ??yet its there wen i open file up without dream up ?is it something to do with file being a different sort please help pullin hair out thanks to one un all

      ive noticed all other file that sent to dmbox are zip file do i need to change file type ????

          have you checked scart lead is ok

          you would think if its flashed ok it should show bootup screen atleast

          have you tried a few different images open pli i find ok for dm500 never had any trouble with any pli images
          also a different version of dreamup might be worth a try

              scart lead fine mate i try different dreamups is there any other images can try different from pli jade ? thanls for reply

                  before you do, try using the rca outputs from dm... it may be ur scart socket on either tv or dm...

                      scart ok tried other dm box on it woks fine .tried to use backup of good dm box.wots best way transferin backup from good box to other dmbox thanks

                          dreamup is the best way, ive had no probs using telnet tho..

                              used dream up to save back up to computer ...saves ok but when i try to flash back to the other dmbox ie open documents find file then click onto it it dissapears off folder is / is it suppose to do that then wen i press open and let dreamp up flash box it loads file .comes up success flashed yet wen put on tv nothing there ????is the box fu;;;;;; thanks

                                  m8 did you try this good advice yet from shady

                                  (before you do, try using the rca outputs from dm... it may be ur scart socket on either tv or dm..)

                                  dm being the one needing checked connect it using red white and yellow cables see what happens
