i'm totally lost here...

just bought one 500s (i think it's a clone) & it's working great so it's time to tinker with it but i'm a bit lost here... when i first switched it on it shows metabox & i'm sure it's running gemini (1st since 2nd won't run on 500s) cause when i ran dcc it shows enigma in its one of it's folder... i know the c-line code in ccam.cfg. the question is can i update/upgrade the metabox to gemini project or better...

Update to wotever you like ,have a tinker with it
Just extract your sea lion befor flashing then send it back to the same location once reflashed

Dreambox, Metabox, vu duo, technomate, itgate = The brand name of the reciver box.

Enigma 1, Enigma 2 = The engine what the firmware will run on.

Pli Jade, Cammando,Gemini ,Nabilosat = The firmware that the box needs to operate ie:- Windows, Linux, Mac Lion.
