Pretty sure if you go into your routers settings you can allow access.

This is when i need my lad to be home but hes out
If you type in the web browser your routers ip address it will bring up your routers homepage.
This is where i fall down, think you will need to go in firewall settings and tick accordingly on the virtual servers and possibly edit any details but can confirm yet mate.

Cant you ignore the hub and use homeplugs from the router and for the box as well.
