Newbie Q - updating ccam from DK1.1 image?

    Can anyone help?

I've flashed the DK 1.1 image on my dm500s clone.
    I've added the Astra 28.2E satellite/transponders
    I've update the bouquet.

So I've got a very nice FTA box, with a good menu system.

I'd like to have a play now.

So how do I add the cccam 2.1.4 files? I've copied them into the tmp folder on the box (via ftp), and tried to do a manual update, but that doesn't work.

    Any pointers would be appreciated.

    Ta.

you don't copy them m8 you transfer them the file saved in your computer will be on your write hand and the files on your box will be on your lift just use the arrow to transfer between the computer and the box in the temp folder then do manual install should work

what do you mean when you say it does not work? you still only getting fta? then that is correct. you need a sea lion to get more channels

I mean I can't see the latest cccam to upgrade to.

I presume I need cccam 2.1.4 for use sea lions?

I must be a right numptie - I've tried to transfer the files across using DCC - but just won't transfer.

I tried Filezilla also and no joy.

I presume it is the "tmp" file in the root folder, and I transfer across CCCAM.ppc ?
