    pink screen/powering off

hi guys i have two dm 500s here flashed them both tonight(i have flashed other boxs at least 20 times before) but since i flashed these two i cannot get them to work, on one i go through the start up settings as far as the tuner setting i select my dish type and select auto tune and bank the screen goes pink with lines through it and the power light on the dm500s goes off on the other i have got as far as searching all the channels but when i select one i get the same pink screen and box power going its hardly the tuner on both box's? as these two boxs are new well no more that 3 months old and very little use,
    any help would be great
    thanks

          Hi

Are you using the same psu on both while you are flashing and setting up, if you are then try different psu.

          Regards

psu {power supply unit } to my knowledge if faulty will not allow flashing believe me i know most likely a bad flash and he has flashed before

              Hi mtv

I have flashed before with faulty psu (think it might be dependant on what sort of voltages its dishing out when faulty) and then would stick on setup stage or just the pli screen and wired colors as well.

From my experience I would say thats a classic psu fault but not dismissing what you are saying cos it could quite easily be a corrupt image/bad flash so maybe download an image from a different source and try again.

              Regards

                  Hi

So are you saying both the psu were faulty and now with new psu boxes are running fine, just so its clear for other people who experience similar problems.

                  Regards
