    Differance between 500s and 500c

    Hi all

Im new to this so please bear with me.

These 2 machines appear to be the same except for the s being the satellite version and the c being the cable.

Does this mean that both machines behave in the same way?

Could they use the same images/emu etc??

They have the same hardware except the S has a dvb-s tuner and the C has a dvb-c tuner. There's also a DM500t version that has a dvb-t tuner.

Yes mate, but there are some minor differences.

The Cable version is a little more straight forward in the UK than the satellite version - only because Cable TV is currently fairly easy to decode, if you wanted Sky TV from satellite for free then it is considerably more complicated - but nothing insurmountable.

        Hi guys

Thanx for the relies. As I suspected (I think), forgetting the obvious differences in whats actually broadcasting these 2 boxes although being almost identical in build; the results using the same images/emus would not necesarily clear like for like packages.

        Is that fair to say??
