    hi guys have a problem with my motor on my dm500s. its a new motor and it was all setup fine till the grandkids pulled the skart lead out and plugged it in the motor has lost it sats when i drive the dish to 0 it goes to 28 and when i pick thor it goes to 28 how can i fix this anyone got a manual for the dr500 tx

    It looks like it has some saved sat positions. You could try unticking usals and then deleting saved positions. Alternatively you could just re-image it and start again.

        connect box with dreamup and serial null modem cable, tick use network box if you have it connected to router, select the image that you have downloaded and press flash erase and wait for it to finish

          put new image on my dreambox. now the motor wont move at all now any help would be great tx

            what motor are you using?.... diseq or acuator?

              the motor is a dg-280 diseqc h-h mount. compatible with all diseqc 1.2 recevers

                so its powered via the sat cable....it may need resetting...if it does you will need to start the calibration on 1 degree west as this is the highest point of the arc....its no hardship my friend once this has been established

                  tx ces for your help m8. just have to sort out how to reset the motor. in the book it has 3 options for resetting. 1 is reset with dicqe. 2 is reset with recever 3 is reset with holding the east and west buttons for 5 seconds. think the 3rd option is best what do you think tx

                        i dont no pal all i done last time was track the dish to each sat and saved and scanned them in. is that right
