    Flashing query

    Lads
ITs been a while since I reflashed the 500s and have since lost missed placed the usb/null cable, on top of that all the pc's in the house are running Win7.
I seen a post regarding flashing the 500 just like the 800 via the ethernet cable. The problem I am having is that when I hold the power button before power turn on I cannot get the 500s to got into stop mode. Anything else I can try as it will be a royal pain to organise flash via null cable.

The reason I am thinking of flashing is that I seem to be missing the ccam config file when i ftp into the box. Can some confirm where this file normally is. The image is the darkstar 2.

    Thanks

cccam.cfg goes in var/etc. if missing just use dcc to add it to box, no need to flash.

          Hi

Cam might need to be installed as not all images have it preinstalled and Im not sure about darkstar.

Also if you have copied the 800hd CCcam have got both boxes running at same time with the same sea lion info or have you edited with another sea lion for the 500.

Are your network settings correct. Just a few things for you to check.

          Regards
