I'll tell my story in short here. I have a 500 HD clone. It has worked some day without internet. After I wanted internet on my dreambox because I saw all the plugins and software updates that are possible. After the internet connection I wanted to update my 500 HD clone (via the 500 hd itself, (settings)...). After the restart I couldn't watch any channel anymore and also It did not find any tuner. When I wanted to configure the tuner I got the following message: 'Tuner A empty'.
But this is the first problem my real problem is that my dreambox doesn't start up because when making a ftp connection I unexpectedly cut and pasted a folder into another folder and I didn't find it back. So it did not restart anymore. When I connect the adapter now, I only get green light and nothing else.
My question now:
I found a patched image that should work fine on my 500 HD clone. But the question is; how can I establish a connection so I can flash it. The box has the following ports: ethernet, usb, eSata, scart, modem (this is smaller ethernet, no serial).
So like you can read I have no serial port on my box. I also can't make a ftp connection anymore...
Any help please!! I am getting really frustrated...
