    Hi,

After a few weeks of admiring my uncles DM500, and looking into flashing and setting up Cccam I feel I am finally ready to give it a go myself.

I just need some advice. I am wondering what image I should use to flash the DM500.

I would also like to get some information on where I could source a DM500. I have found on online for ?37 + PP. I don't know if this is cheap or expensive or if it's a clone or not. I wouldn't mind a clone so long as it worked fine with Cccam.

Sorry if I made very little sense, as I said I am a newbie!

    Thanks!

For that price your most likely will be purchasing from a seller in China. It might cause a few issues down the line if the box develops a fault, it will be very costly to send back to China. But once you get the box, I suggest using an image called Commando 14.6. It take around 10mins to upload the image and have it all running. The image comes pre-loaded with bouquets (channel list) and epg. And there is a quick guide in the read me documents which explain how to install CCCam. I had my first box running in about half an hour.

        Hope this help!

        Cheers,
