They are all made in China these days (clones), so buying direct is cheapest, if you're patient on delivery time. But then, you keep your fingers crossed that your new toy isn't a bad 'un. Coz Royal Mail will probably charge you more to send it back to PRC for warranty replacement than your original cost price!

It's best to pay a few quid more and choose a UK seller with 100% feedback or near. But even then, you need to look at their Returns / Warranty small print as well. Some make you wait weeks for a replacement while THEY send your faulty one back to China. AND expect you to fund the postage to THEM!!

So it's Caveat Emptor I'm afraid... (Buyer beware)

even if you are unfortunate enough to have bought a bad one eg: duff tuner or power pack, which is nearly the only two things that they seem to fail on, you can get a whole motherboard replacement for about ?30 or a new box for about ?55
