HELLO MY SENIORS I LIVE IN AFRICA ,IAM A NEWBEE,I HAVE A DM500S, I HAVE DOWNLOADED DARKSTAR 2 IMAGE THEN I GOT STUCK,CAN SOMEONE OUT THERE TELL ME WHAT TO DO PLS STEP BY STEP? I HAVE INTERNET. MY FRIENDS ARE TAKING A BET THAT I WILL NEVER GET THE DM TO WORK LIKE YOURS OVER THERE B/COS IAM IN AFRICA . PLS HEEEEEEL P

are both your dishes connected via a diseqc switch to your dreambox

Well if your after nilesat then there is two main ways to open the encrypted channels, ie,showtime,art..
The main way is to buy a i2 card and a cas 3 programmer and keep the card up to date.this will cost about 80quid..
The other main way is by cardsharing however google is your friend for that not us..
The channels use to be available by latest key files but that is becoming more of a lesser occurance as days go on..

connect your box to the internet and use the addon server within the image m8....think its yellow then yellow again....download CCcam, but you will still either need a official card or 3rd party card/cam to view the encrypted channels, or alternatively join a cardshare.

I cant see any reason why you shouldnt be able to get it working, if you use cccam 2.0.11 with an original card you should be able to view encrypted channels, also bare in mind that some cards need cccam + newcs to read the card m8. if the card is nds3 you will need to mod the voltage on the vcc with a 18ohm resistor and a 4.7v zenner as a standard dreambox will fry a nds3 card in 10-15 seconds, hope this helps..
