clone DM500 and dreamup

I just bought a used clone DM500s with GP 3,6.
I do not have any username / password (root/null didn't work) and I can not download add-ons in order to install Tuxbox (connection error).

I just want to load a new, clean GP image...
Is it safe to upload new image using dreamup and LAN cable?

is there any other way to "hard reset" / format the receiver ?

You cannot download files as you do not have enough posts. You can use dreamup to flash an image. If you load GP image on your clone you will kill the dreambox.

I use the Pli image on my dreambox I much prefer that image than the GP. You can flash via the LAN.

PLI image is working proper, but cant scan channels or transponders and PG, or pin protected movies can't be watched through PLI.!

It wouldnt matter what image you put on you cant just get free subcription channels like Sky Sports or Sky Movies.
You will only get FTA channels and the rest will be blank if you aint paid a sub.
