    dreambox 500s

    i got the above box and have reflashed it, i set the ip address to last difgits 69 so i could find the box all was working well until i added a bouquet for sly now i cannot access the box.
    and the wierdest thing is when i connect my comp with crossoever and rs cable it keeps saying that the cable is connected then after a few seconds it says the ethernet cable is disconnected and it just keeps doing it. is there anyway to find the ip address of the box i have tried dcc and done a search but got nothing. and why do you think the ethernet connection keeps dropping out???
    any help appreciated

          not sure what your problem is but the ip can be found or set in the network connections page
          DHCP automatically assigns an IP for your network or you can enter ip settings manually
          If you mean you cannot access the box via network then just look in neetwork connection page to check if IP is OK (should be 192.168.xx.xx If it isnt check LAN connections)
          If you mean that the box wont boot then reflash it
