Sky EPG for Dreambox?

Hi all, is there a good plugin to get the Sky EPG while on 28.2? For the DM500s, currently running Gemini Nobomb but willing to install another image if it works better for the EPG. I did try the PLI image, picture quality was nice but menu's bounced around everywhere like the olden day monitors when the Hold had gone. Anyway, thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Alun, do I need Enigma Firmware for this to work, or will it work with Gemini??

Works on all Enigma 1 based receivers needs to be connected to internet for the epg data, they are still working on this software its realy good and will get better.

Im sure it will work on a Cable receiver same channel programming.

Hi again everybody. Just to let you know I've downloaded the EPG Evolution and FTP'ed the files into the box in the folders that the guide says to put them in. But I could be doing something wrong as the guide looks nothing like the photos, and if I press red twice it just comes up with "channel is not in bouquet" on any channel. I'm running DK image 1.1 on a DM500S, just wondering if anyone could give me any pointers or just tell me I've installed it wrong!! :-)

thats right vinnys. i think you need to at the channels to a specific bouquet and use it from there.

ie i have a bouquet for 'sky' and it works fine whilst in the 'sky' bouquet.

the software does work fine other than that.

That's ok,, but the interface seems quite clunky for adding channels to a bouquet. Could somebody give me a step by step, for instance if I wanted to add Sky 1 or 2 to a bouquet?

best thing to use is dreamboxedit. you can create and add channels easier and have them in whatever order you want them to be. other than that if you used the on screen menu to do it im sure you will give up after 10 channels.

Hi Felix, I have created some bouquets using Dreambox Edit, transferred the files and settings but am getting errors with "services" file. It appears to transfer everything except the bouquets I made!

did u save what you did in dreambox edit? you need to as this is what updates the box. also i have had times when the edit didnt 'take' so may be worth trying again. just use a different folder when you start each edit process you to be sure of what youre doing.

Okay Alun, thanks for all your help so far, hope I'm not being too much of a pain in the rear. I have successfully created some bouquets and got the nice blue and yellow EPG up, however the text appears Qky Aomedy (instead of comedy), and some films are coming up, none of them the right spelling. Is there something in a config I can modify?

have you selected the right language at setup of the epg? thnk theres about four to choose from. the default is not english.

Selecting Multi EPG

Hi,
Just installed crossEPG on my DreamBox800.
All works OK.....except how to bring it up.

If I press "info" go into EventView, them Blue button for MultiEPG, it brings up "choose Bouquet" then brings up an EPG selection as a list with three tabs Now, more and next,....not very good.

But

(from a clear screen) If I long press the blue button, select 3, it goes to select bouquet and then to the graphical EPG, with a matrix of programmes in the right hand window and detail of the selected programme in the left which is exactly what I want.

How can I short cut this to maybe one or two clicks. Can I create shortcuts for the remote? Or have I set up the EPG correctly?

You can set quick link buttons on Gemini images for sure.
