i had crossepg working...but went on my box today and it doesnt have any forward program details...just the odd one for today...how do i fix this? do i have to re-install or have i missed a setting out? do i have to set the box to download new 7 day epg every day or something?

yeh i did that and it went through the process but still nothiong

hi im interested in this epg prog to get a good epg on the dm500 is this the best method currently to get epg on the dm500?
and does it not make the dm500 sluggish or slowdown?

I have it on the DM800 and it hasnt affected its operation whatsoever. Try it for yourself, thats the only test you can do.

a really good epg for the dm500 is the radiotimes ones.

i'm on pli jade image so i'm not sure if its available on all images.

you download the SQLite EPG import plugin.

in system settings, go to epg, in EPG data store select SQLite Database, then in EPG Location select browse/tmp then press green

then select number of days as 3, then save.

go into plugins menu, go to dreambox epg config, set days as 3, press blue, pair your channels, save, then press yellow to retreive and it will download the epg.

if you dont want to pair all the channels i can post a paired channels folder for you to ftp over

how do i veiw premier sports on my 500s got the channel up and program times but no picture thanks.

seanmckeown, Hi. Thumbs up for this how-to. Love the EPG.
I have it up and running, but I can't pair all the channels, as there doesn't seem to be an equivalent for them all e.g. Sky Showcase, or 3e(Irish Channel) etc.
Could you send/post the paired list, assuming it's the Sly Bouquets?
I am am kinda new at this but can use DB Edit and upload bouquets and so forth.

Is it not the same? Thank you very much. The channels that I thought were missing actually turned up too. So I have an EPG set-up for 3 days for all my entertainment + movie channels. Looking forward to telling my mates now!

i use sgtflipflops sky uk bouquets and i have paired most of the channels in the radiotimes epg. Just unzip this folder and ftp the file using flashfxp or dcc, replacing your existing one
