Been here for weeks, lurking in the background ;-)
Now have a DM500S, programmed and ready to roll - all with thanks to the helpful posts on here, which has given me invaluable info - thank you!
My current setup is:
Jade Maxvar Image with CCcam 2.3.0.
I have edited the Boxkey successfully and can now get Sly channels. (will be putting C&F lines in shortly I hope).
I just have TWO questions remaining, maybe you people would be kind enough to help me with (hope this post is in the correct place!);
1.) Will the Sly card work for eternity in the DM500 - or does it need to pay a visit back to mammy every now and again?
(if so, roughly how often?)
2.) The missus likes the recording feature on Sly (You know the one
) - so I can't ditch the Sly box, without getting divorced.
Rather than getting an additional card/sub, is there ANY way 'at all' of using the one card to feed both? (and also any additional F:lines that I may have).
Surely theres a card-reader available that has outputs/leads that can duplicate the signal/keys to two dummy cards via two cables or somewhat?
