Hey guys, as you have been a big help to me before. I have another ?. My DM 500S will be here next week. And I've noticed on the pics. That their is card port e.g. sky etc on the front. So does this mean I will need some sort of card. So it will work.

no you dont need a card, unless you wish to view scrambled channels, it will work fine on free to air channels
you will have to do some work if you wish the card slot to be read, I suggest you read the dreambox forum here on dk, and ask dreambox questions in the correct section there (enigma1 for dm500s) -
