newbie wants to image dm 600

Hey guys and girls,

i'm new to this dm-stuff and i bought myself a dm600 and want to image it with gemini 4.60 and cccam it to be able to cardshare....

I'm going to read some other posts before i even try it.

Is there a big NO i have to know before i brick my dm600?

not really m8 pick an image use a null modem cable to flash the image to the box download cccam to the box and then find someone to share cardswith

its a little more complicated than i have stated but that is just stating your basic needs but cardshare is not to be discussed on this forum all other dreambos realated stuff is and you will get plenty of help on the site

The big 'NO' is if you have clone dreambox than keep away from Gemini images.

I've flashed gemini onto my dreambox, and i put the cccam.cfg in etc directory, but i can't select it in the camdsetting (bluebox) also tried to put it in /var directory...

Any ideas?

Hello all im a total newbie to flashing & i think my dreambox 500 is a clone, i have a null modem cable & tried to flash the box today, everything went ok on PC ,untill i re-scaned the stations ,i can c a list of stations on TV but no pic or sound , do i need a new image or have i killed my box ? Please help

You want to make sure you have installed CCcam 2.0.11 and downloaded and installed the leatest satan key bundle.

Can you take a picture of your box and post it..??


As for Cccam and satan..
its in the forum.. just do a search
