    dm500+mgcamd

    hi guys
    trying to set up mgcamd to run on darkstar 2. have mgcamd 1.35 running and edited newcamd file in var/keys but getting no joy in running my channels.
    this is the 1st time i have tried setting up mgcamd on dm 500. am i missing something?
    bw i have started mgcamd via blue button.
    all help appreciated ;-)

      You say that you're starting mgcamd via the blue button, so is this Commando 14.6 you're running?

      If so, you also require /var/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.7 to be present. This file is included as a loose item in the C14.6 release rar package, for mgcamd and evocamd users. The majoity of us on CCcam don't need this file, so it would be excess baggage to include it in the image.

          u have lost me mate, dont know wot ur on about with cammando 14.6 and the libcrypto.so.0.9.7
          u got any more helpl ;-) pls pls pretty pls

              rite i ahve d/loaded the Commando 14.6 DM500 Release and extracted the libcrypto.so.0.9.7, but wen i try ftp the file to /var/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.7 with filezilla i get a "Critical file transfer error"
              wot else can i do?

                      Lol no worries mate. But I found another forum ( that ur also on ) and commando 14.6 image. Installed that and so far very impressed with it. But still Avin probs running mgcamd!
