Dreambox 500 and mororised set up HELP

Have dreambox 500 all working sky loaded on fixed dish..........Now I have installed a motorised dish. I have PLI image when I got to set up in menu only 28e in list can not find any other satellites (SHOULD THEY BE IN MENU) its working on 28e perfectly at present, when I go down to multi sat and save no change on top menu it say diqu motor will not manual search either If I try manual search ....message says moving to 28 e it moves stops and I loose signal Then I have to back outside to move it manually Is the box set up correctly When I bought it it was plug and play never needed to look for satellites I assumed they were stored in box but nothing my motor is tecnomate

hi m8 you need to set the long and lat i think on a 500 its in motor setup

you would be better posting dreambox questions in the dreambox enigma 1 forum

satellite channel lists are loaded by the user, so I think you have a single satellite 28e channels list loaded, in which case NO nothing else will show, many types of channel lists are out there, you choose one to suit your own needs

the easiest way to get multiple satellite lists is to download them from a server through the dreambox menu plugins , like tspanel or whatever you have installed , OR load one in using dreamset or dreamboxedit , like catseyes E1 settings, motorised channel list

backup your own channel list first in case you wish to go back to it

the point about using the dreambox forum here is you get help from other users of dreamboxes that see your posts

when you flash the image it runs you through the settings set the latitude and longitude to the settings for your area i found mine with this Satellite Dish Pointer with Google Maps pick a sat enter your post code scroll to the bottom and you will find it there.
