hi all as the title says i will need your expertise. I have a blackbox 500 is this the same as a DM500 ? is it a clone ?
The box worked great untill it sort of froze rebooted had menues no pictures, its now come back on but its lost its bouques all programes are in a sort of big list, so i need to know the following
1. can it be fixed without flashing?
2. If it needs flashing whats the best software for it ( has Pli at the moment).
3. Can i get what i need from this site hopefully

Anybody know about this type of box i dont want to flash it with the wrong software ect. Any help much apreciated.

I think this box can still be flashed with DM500 software... Try JadePli (my fave for E1 500's). If there are no menu's it needs flashing.

Have you ever used dreamup or a channel editor?

Or look at commando 14.6 then you don't need a boutiques editor
