Another DM500v Newbie

Hi Guys ...can anyone give advice & link for erasing & updating a DM500v unit ....just shows blank blue screen when powered on ....i'm used to rs232 flashing a Nanoxx 9600 ...but don't understand the Dreambox yet !! ...is the process similar ...ie need a loader & then Image ...then keyfiles ???

you can flash the box with a programme called dreamup.
the best imamge for it imo would be the pli max var which can be found in the d/load section of the site
