    DM 600 problem (no loader)

    Hello ..

    I have here a Dreambox 600 pvr with some geminy project image. But. During the startup the dream freezes after the screen Loading default settings .. than there is GP screen Loading enigma .. nothing else ..

    I tried to use DreamuUP .. but there is no stop after pluging the 600 in the power .. and therefore no flashing .. DreamUP is waiting on the dream to be pluged in .. and the dream is booting and stoping on the GP screen Loading enigma :-)

    I have no idea what ip the dream is geting while on my router there is no DHCP request from dreambox .. so no ip asigned .. so i cant get to the dreambox throug lan ..

    Is there any solution to this .. or only Jtag flash ?

      it may have been the gemini clone bomber image mate.

          Yes it could be .. but the bomber destroys and no loading possible .. ??

          Here it looks like there is no first boot loader .. it goes straight to the image and after some time freezes (maybe) ..

              first try a different version of dreamup v1.3.3.4 i think
              ive got a similar problem but with the second stage 69 bootloader apparently the problem lies with the internal sim if u lift the cover u will see the sim under the end of the tuner, try this press connect on dreamup and with a piece of plastic or somethin like that press down gently on sim then plug in power lead to back of db, try this a few times if it dont let u flash were on the same boat to china

                  what does it mean if th esim is covered with Eproxy glue? What then?

                      the original sim is totally covered with the epoxy to keep it secure
                      and the clone only has a dab of epoxy on it and quite easy to remove

                      if u have an original with this type of problem my advice is to contact Dream Multimedia
