Im having an issue with my dreambox 600 glitching at the weekends especially. i contacted BT my broadband guys, they said that my connection hadnt dropped all weekend and it was steady 5mb. They said that it could be an issue with my pc or antivirus software or my firewall settings. can someone here please help me on what to look for on my pc and what im doing wrong maybe. Thanks in advance for any help.

i take it your on a c/s with you mentioning phone lines.
if so then its usually your server has has too many peers on it, or if its uk sly then most c/s freeze more than a eskimo pi$$ing in the arctic due to the fact of how many times the keys change, plus the fact you say its even worse at weekend means more people are off work then and watch more tele so there more logging into the server for keys making it work harder hence the freezingPS3= krazylegz120282

its a really steady server actually as this weekend has been the wors ive seen it recently as all the pachages have been glitching. if it was my antivirus or pc what should i look out for in this issue. Im with bt but i have enquired with other broadband suppliers and they say i should only be getting 2meg rather than the 6meg bt said. im lost.Comment

I cannot see how the anitvirus or firewall on your pc would have any impact on your dreambox. You could try running broadband speed test at regulr intervals on your pc to se what sort speeds you are getting from broadband supplier.Comment

You should also see what ecm times you are getting anything over 0.70 ecm for sly = glitchingComment
