DM500s DBedit question

Hi peeps

I have a quick question

I usually use dreamboxedit with my dm500s connected to my router directly with a ethernet cable.

However i would like to know if i can use dreamboxedit to transfer and update files with the use of homeplugs rather then the dm500s being connected directly to the router.
