Dm500hd remote with dm500s

Does anyone know if the remote from the dm500hd will work with jade pli running on a dm500s, the help screens all seem to contain buttons that are on the dm500hd remote but not the 500s one, also it's got the record button which would make life slightly easier.

the 800 remote works the 500 but not all buttons correspond to there labeling
most prob be the same IF the 500hd one operates 500.?

The 500hd remote looks fairly cheap to buy, I'll give it a whirl and report back.

Doh, nope doesn't work, at least not with any of the remote settings on jade pli. Shame.
