    Transponder Scan error! Need help

    Hello

I have a problem with my Dreambox 500s.

When I start a Transponder Scan it doesn't find the channels and give me this message:

    Code:
All Known transponders have been tried.but no lock was possible.Verify antenna-/cable-setup or try another satellite/network.
When I do Transponder Scan with an other receiver it works fine.

My SNR is 90%+, AGC 90%+ and BER 0

    Please help me

P.S. My english is bad but I hope you understood the problem.

    Thank you

That sounds like your trying to scan the wrong satellite be sure its set up to astra/eurobird at 28 east
I couldn't wait for success, so I went ahead without it.

      I'm sure I'm scanning the right satellite (Eutelsat W2 @ 16.0?).

When I connect the satellite cable to another receiver (Kopernikus), Eutelsat W2 @ 16.0? works very fine.

I have tried to scan other satellites, too, but I get the same error.

Can someone help me please ?

Not sure what setup you have if the dish isnt pointing at the correct satelite it wont scan nothing so check your tuner configuration im guessing you have a motorised setup.
Also if you add a multi sat set of bouquets it will save you from scanning.
Try and find a channel which has a strong transponder.

The signal is very strong. I'm sure for it! And the dish is pointing at the correct satellite. As I said, I just switch the satellite cable to other receiver and the Eutelsat W2 Channels work just fine.

Thats ok but first thing the other box might havee a stronger tuner and another thing are both boxes set up with the same long and lat?

All satellites worked fine in this Dreambox with the same dish position as now, but I don't know what happened and now isn't working.

As I mentioned on the first post the signal is very good.

Have you added a new bouquet yet? Thats what i would do first and select a program which corresponds in the strongest transponder guide but check the tuner configuration and make sure it matches the other box.

I had buouquets and all channels listed but they didn't work. I tried doing a factory reset and it didn't work.
                  How to check tuner configuration?

It wont just work like that you will need to set up the network and tuner. Tuner is found in Setup,
Lots of info if you google youtube it will give you a walk through that might help.
