dreambox just light on front no image on tv

got dreambox it just got light on front no picture on tv ..how can this be rectified ...its a dm500s ..it did work couple month a go ..i plugged in but no picture ,,ive tried different poer cable but no different ,,all help appreicieted

hi mate reflashed box ,,it said flahed box ok ...yet wen plugged in to tv theresstill no response ive tried ftp to box as well thats got no response either have you any ideas thanks

Was it power lead or power supply that's a very common problem on most boxes.

Most faulty power supplies will power up the box or give it some power so ethernet lights might be on etc
Best bet is to buy a new power supply off ebay they only about 7 quid if you haven't tried that already.
I had similar problem with my motorised system it would power up but the dish wouldn't move and my mates was like yours lights on but no channels.
