    DM600 Channel settings

I have got the Captain settings currently loaded on my dreambox but I want to try out some of the other settings as the Captains settings are a little out of date. I am running the Pli Jade image on my dm600 and was wondering if there was a way of deleting the current settings from my dreambox and loading a completely new settings?

I have looked through them in the past but preferred the Captains. Someone posted the channel settings by Ferret which looked close to the format adopted by the captain so I might give that a go if I can find which folder I need to delete to completely remove the old settings before copying the new ones to the dreambox.

father ted I normally send mine over with dreamboxedit as well but I wasn't 100% convinced about whether that removed all traces of the previous settings. I was trying to achive the sort of state you normally get when you flash a new image across to your box and then you send the settings across to set up the channel list.

Cajton settings are some of the most up to date. When using dreambox edit, make sure you press you press 'reload settings on dreambox'. In the ftp window of dreambox edit, after the settings have been transferred.

You could delete some of the bouquets using dreambox edit & move them up or down to suit where you want the channels.

Logon onto your dreambox with your ftp program. Navigate to var\tuxbox\config\enigma and delete all files marked userboquets and service.
