Been on here a while but formatted my pc and lost passwords couldn't remember email address used so had to re-register.
I have a DM500s used it for years with the Nabilosat Enigma1 DarkStar II image.
last week the box (box 1) froze and when I got it started again the box was non responsive to anything with the remote, changed remote batteries etc still nothing.
I have another box upstairs which I will call box 2 so tried the remote on box 2 it worked fine no problems, the remote from the box 2 also didnt work on box 1 either, so starting to think it was the box, obvious thing to do was to reflash which I did, started up to the config screen, the remote still wouldn't work so couldnt continue setting the box back up.
Did a flash with the jade image to see if that would work still non responsive to the remote.
Went on to webinterface can move through all the things etc but as the box isn't set up to a satellite due to the reflashing I couldnt get the channels via that way.
Took the front board (were the remote sensor is) out of box 2 and put it in box 1 same result, still non responsive to remote, put it back in box 2 works fine!
Anyone any ideas on anything else it might be?
