dreambox 500s

Am sure it has been covered , but cannot seem to find anything i need to be answered, any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have a working dreambox 500s , but it was set up with a standard satellite dish you get with normal sky. I have now disconnected it from there and am looking to set it up in my room.

Is my best option to get a motorised dish ? will I be able to watch other channels , even though the box is set up already with what I am not allowed to mention on this site?

Sorry I am newbie, and want to find out how I can get maximum usage out of the box.

So as a starting point I have a dreambox 500s (working) a vonets 11g modem type thing, (what satelite dish should i get and what are the benefits with my set up ?)

it depends if your box is set up on one single sat or multiple sattelites
its not that simple to swap to motorised if your not sure what your doing
the box will either need reflashing or you are going to have to sit and locate and store each sat position and scan and save all transponders
as for the not talked about bit ,that may not work on all sats depends on where your getting it from may be just sly uk
