Downloaded a few pli images, all are in .img format, so im back where i started.

pli image should work on the folowing boxes.
PLi?-Jade2-DM500 (regular and maxvar)
* PLi?-Jade2-DM500+ (Plus)
* PLi?-Jade2-DM600
* PLi?-Jade2-DM5600/5620
* PLi?-Jade2-DM7000
* PLi?-Jade2-DM7020

Anyone have a clue why i can only choose .nfi in Dreamup ?

What version of dream up are you using?

I have tryed V 1.2.1.5 and 1.3.3.2

Did you try that Pli .nfi image?

.img files are backup images i think... I have only ever flashed with an .nfi if i was using a clean/fresh image with dreamup... To flash an .img file its possible to use telnet..

Also you can use flashwizrd pro to flash them although I have not done this myself. See below and read down the page past the first post etc...

Ok now you have pli image, set it up for your network then try to use Flashwizard over lan to flash a .img, see if it works that way.

i think once you have flashed a .img file it should take them all the time through dreamup.

Flashed with pli image and the box is running stunning, wondering if I should try pli on DM800 insted of newnigma
