upgrading to commando 14.7

How about's would I do this?
Do I just upload it over the current image or do I use the eraser image first?

That's eazy-peazy, then! But read my wise words of experience carefully, please!

When upgrading C14.6 to C14.7 - it's strongly recommended that you first DISABLE load EPG at Startup and then REBOOT your box via the Main Menu > Reboot option.

And THEN ftp the un-rarred 7.75MB C14.7 .img file to the /tmp folder

And then reflash via Main Menu > Services > BLUE > GREEN > RED

I say this because peeps seem to get bad flashes, and I'm sure it's a memory issue, where they're reflashing without a clean reboot first, so a load of EPG is alread resident in memory. Give the box a chance!
