what satelite to point at

Hi all, I have a dreambox 500s and I am wondering what satelite i can point at to pick up english channels. I have seen from some of the posts already that pointing it at s*y on Astra 28 is of little use with the encryption or I am wrong in this.

yes if your looking to view encrypted channels for free via EMU or Keys then Astra 28E is no good.. You will get the Freeview channels obvioulsy..

If your purely on EMU and Keys then I'm afriad Thor is the only Satellite of any use.. Very few English language channels, but a lot of English Football..

Most channels use very good encryption so you will need another solution, either an official subscription or be on a cardshare.. i'm afraid cardsharing discussion is not allowed on here though
