DM500-S not workiing

Hi i have a dreambox DM500-S, only the front light is glowing green on the TV when connected it shows no signal. Please help how can i get the signals

firstly its considered polite to say hello in the intro section before asking for help!! you will need to flash your box using a null-modem "patch lead" and a PC with a rs232 com port. you can then find a copy of dream-up to flash the box and there are a few dm500s clone safe images in the downloads section also.. the G.P. 4.2. C**am 2.2.1 by midar-sat posted by me is a good image for newbies as it has all the required cams/plug-ins installed away from the /VAR regards mdt

You might also have a faulty PSU. Can you try a swap-out from a m8's dm500? New 3 pin 12v 2A adaptors can be picked up on fleabay for under a fiver inc P&P.

I've got two DM500S boxes and both PSUs failed within weeks of each other at about two years old. Chinese crap!

Had the same problem on two boxes before, Can you connect to dreamup? If not I would file the box under B for bin, Sorry
