                how old is your box..??
If its under 18 months old then its a clone..
Have you reflashed using DreamUp and a Null Modem Cable..??
Have you reflashed it back to an original Dream Image..???

Can I ask why you try new images..??

I have had the same image on my box for 2 years..
I get all the channels i need.. Sky UK, Sky IT, Nova GR, UPC, Canal+NL, Canal+FR, D+, ART, JSC to name but a few..

I have had my box for three months and its not a clone.I try new images to see what they have to offer.I have reflashed with a null modem and all the mod cons. You name it i have tried it.There must be a way to get to the factory settings on power up just like a pc when it refuses to boot.

i dont see how you can not have a clone my friend (unless you have a 500+).. Dream stopped making them 2 years ago.. For the past 12 months the chinese have been pumping out 500S copies left right and centre..

Have you reflashed an actual Dream Factory Image and tried that..?

Yes I have. My previous question remains unanswered How to get to factory settings on power up? Just like on a PC.

you wont get any settings up if your box is unresponsive..

have you done the EXACT below

                        1. Unplug Dreambox fully (10 mins minimum).. Main power, LAN Cable, LNB Feed, Null Modem Cable.
                        2. Shut down PC / Laptop
                        3. Connect PC to Dreambox via Null Modem Cable ONLY
                        4. Reboot PC only
                        5. Run DreamUp
                        7. Select the COM port and UNCHECK the Use Network.
                        6. Follow on screen instructions
                        8. Flash your Dreambox 500 image of choice.
                        9. If working, power down D500 then reconnect LAN Cable, LNB, remove Null Modem cable

sounds like your box maybe dead.. where did you buy it from..??

i dont want to offend here, but you have unzipped the images from the rar file and not just flashed the downloaded file..???

You could try flashing this erase image to your box and then flash your chosen image.
