dreambox dm 600pvr sat

can anyone explain howto send an imageto my dm600pvr via the null cable,iam new to the dreambox world,so have very little knowlege on them .i dont understand how you link the dreambox with my computer ,ithought the dreambox would reconize it once connected to the null cable.can any one give me advice? p.s what image should i load.thank for any advice gothi
