jade PLi images are the best at the moment for dreambox 600pvr.
I have a clone DB600 so its best not to use gemini images on them as they could "bomb" via a timebomb and damage the box.
jade pli website should have the latest images for dreambox 600pvr
i used dreamup to load the image onto my dreambox- i find its still the best way to load an image
ive just read that guide- its a bit outdated and only section 1 is relevant to flashing the dreamboxLast edited by kirit; 11 June, 2009, 17:06.Comment

I don't believe that I come across as critical.
But I do still think that only section 1 of the guide is relevant to flashing the box which is what Gothi needed help with.
Gothi like myself is probably a newcomer to using the dreambox.
I know that when I first started reading dreambox guides I found many of them difficult to follow and still do.
I've also found that for many people who dont have a strong background in I.T they tend to find it harder to follow the guides.
I for instance am not familiar with using ftp. I have never used it before and as a solicitor I have never had a need to use it prior to purchasing a dreambox as its not something that I would use in my profession. However, there are many people who work either in I.T or I.T related fields who would have used ftp or linux so they may feel more comfortable using it.Comment
