Dm500s not finding all channels

Hi members I have a strange problem I would like to share with you regarding my dm500s

I have a sky mini dish connected to a sky box and can receive all freesat channels

when i plug my dm500s in with commando image installed it will not change to certain channels even bbc and other freesat channels don't work .
I have ran auto bouquets and still it will not change to certain channels .

I have also installed other images and uploaded a new updated bouquets and it was the same.

i have now took the box to a friend's house and all channels work great.

So is it the cable or the lnb

why is the sky box working on freesat channels

not sure if there could be a lnb compatibility issue

Could be a conflict with the official box but then again i assumed only the Open/Sky box where affected by this, have you tried just running the 500 on the LNB on its own it may also be a faulty port on the LNB itself. You could laways swap the boxes over and try this as well

I have unattatched the existing cables from the sky box and tried both cables its exactly the same,

Today i will make a complete new cable then test if its still the same i will buy a new lnb and hopefully it will be resolved .

The way i see it it can only be a problem from the dm500s

fplugs/cable/lnb/dish

so will sort everything today
